New York

We have been having fun in New York so far...me a little more than Kyle as he works all day Mon-Sat. :( But we get to go out and tour the city together on Sunday. This Sunday and last Sunday we went to Central Park. For those of you who have not been to Central Park it is HUGE! It is 2.5 mi. in length and .5 mi in width. There are more than 58 mi of walking paths throughout the park. It is unbelievable! I have now been 3 times and have not seen all of the park, but it is one of the most beautiful and amazing places in New York I think, maybe my favorite. So here are some pictures of our journey as well as some of our apartment in Fort Lee, NJ.

Close up of Belvedere Castle overlooking Turtle Pond (never seen more turtles in my life!)
Kyle giving a nice smile! The building in the background with the 2 towers is called The Twin Towers of Central Park West. Many famous people have and do live here, except Madonna, for some reason they denied her.
Bow Bridge, some of you may recall this from Enchanted

TAGGED!

So my lovely sister tagged me to share 7 things about me so here they are:

1. I love LOVE big family get togethers. Games, talking, the whole 9 yards. Everything about it is so fun and they have been some of my favorite memories!

2. I have and always will love Cardston, it's my favorite place to go. Can't kick the addiction! hah I guess I just love the small town feeling.

3. I can't handle watching shows where they cut into skin or even the thought of it, it gives me the heebie-jeebies. yuck!

4. I love shoes! They are amazing...no matter what you look like they always look good!

5. I am a sucker for Nicholas Sparks books. They are my favorite!

6. I am a very independent person. I love looking after and taking care of people, but when that comes to me, I always think I can do it on my own.

7. I love giving gifts. It's just so fun especially when you find the perfect thing. I like to watch peoples reactions to it...you get that warm fuzzy feeling! :)

We're jumpin on the band-wagon!!!

Ok so I started this blog over a year ago in secret because I never did anything with it, but I am attempting to do something with it now! Yay for me!

Kyle and I are happy to be finished with school for the semester and are spending our summer in New York. Kyle is selling for a security system company and I get to hang out at home with Lucy & Penny (our dogs for those who didn't know we got some). When I'm not hanging out with them I get to go see the sites with some of the other wives whose husbands are also selling. It's been lots of fun so far and we look forward to this summer. We will be here til the end of Aug. so whoever wants to come visit our doors are open and our air-mattress is ready for ya!

Here are just some random pictures from our time being married until I can get some from New York posted...
